Frank, you indicated you have had two stolen, was the insurance company fair with the replacement cost?

I had a car stolen back in the late 80's, so I feel your anguish, and felt as if I was violated. The car was recovered and rebuilt but it didn't feel right. I wish they would have totaled it. I ended up trading it off soon after.

edit: I wouldn't be at all surprised if your truck is in Mexico, never to be seen again.

Back in '84, I had a '75 Granada stolen out of my driveway. The cops found it a hundred miles away on an Indian reservation with a few new dents in it. The sheriff said there was a $150 towing and storage bill against it. I told him I would just mail him the title and we would call it even. He said: "I was afraid you were gonna say that".

Both cars were stolen and recovered two days later. Tires, wheels and battery were stripped, the insurance put each vehicle back together without any problems. I was very thankful that neither suffered any body or interior damage. One car was a 1969 Torino GT conv. and the other a 1973 Ford Torino GT fastback.
