Default Mushy brakes

I can pump my brake peddle when the engine is off and it will get tight. If the engine is running I lose that tightness and pumping wont bring it back. I pretty much have to push the peddle all the way in to start slowing the truck down. Air in lines or booster or what? This in turn makes it to where my stupid brake light sensor doesnt turn the lights on til I have it all the way down.

Have you done anything to the brakes lately or had the caliper off for any reason? Check the MC by plugging the two lines and pushing on the pedal. It should be rock solid with no fade. Go wheel by wheel and try to bleed the brakes. If you don't get anything out of one or more wheels, crack the lines open farther upstream and try again. If you get fluid further upstream, there's a blockage. Most of the time it's in the rubber lines.

Guess I left out the obvious...bleed the brakes and check for leaks...
