Default Mud guards

I have a 2012 Platinum & want mud guards but didn't want to have to drill holes to install. Has anyone tried the ones by Weathertech? If so how do they look & how do you like them? also will the front ones work ok with the running boards.
Thanks, ML

My wife got me a set for Christmas for my 2013 F-150 Lariat. But she didn't know that the Lariat fenders have a lip molding, so I got the wrong ones. WeatherTech customer service is great and the correct ones are on the way to me. I will have them next week and get them installed. I'll report back on installation and my thoughts after I get them.

dont bother getting the ford, molded ones. they don't fit right because they tilt in, towards the center, instead of straight down. guess they'll put there name on anything to make a buck, without making sure they fit properly. dealer installed and the same problem on both, my last truck and this one. wont do that again! aftermarket flaps from here on

I used the Ford ones on my 2012 F150. My truck does not have the wheel lip moldings, but they have a set made for those trucks. The set was about a 15 minute install with the truck sitting on the ground (no drilling).

The flaps fit parallel to the ground, but do taper in a bit at the sides. I'm happy with mine.

Although they don't show up well, you can see mine here:

Good luck with your choice.

Just installed some on my 2013 Platinum. EZPZ install, and fit like a glove. It a little aggravating to get the nut on the screw to secure the bottom on the front ones b/c you have to just feel for it, but I got 'em.

No problems with the running boards.

And, welcome to the forum.

I bought some for my Christmas present and just installed them today on my 2012 Lariat. I have the wheel lip molding and the running boards and had no trouble installing them. They look great and I love them.
