misfire and engine overheating
I have a 2003 ford f150 4.6 and I have a misfire on cyclinder 8 and engine overheats. I have changed the spark plugs, coil pack, fuel injector, spark plug boot, compression test(steady 150 reading), thermostat, degass bottle cap(radiator cap), water pump and still misfire on cyclinder 8. Truck hesitates and is rough idle and when it gets hot the coolant shoots out the degass bottle cap runs hot for a second then temp goes back down to normal. Any suggestions?
