looking to get replacement tow mirrors for my 2012, I'm not sure what the "temperature sensor in passanger mirror" is, is this for the external temp display in the dash? or for the mirrors to know when to turn on the heat/defrost? any help would be appreciated. link i'm looking at is below.

Just looking to replace with power mirror adjustment, memory mirror, manual telescope/fold.
