Haha well luckily here in Alabama it doesn't get very cold. We get snow about once every 3 years.

I'm from the Florida panhandle. It gets cold enough to make those tires semi-dangerous.

the problem with running military tires on a civilian vic is that the theyre rated for a higher weight then what an f150 or a 250 weighs. youre truck wont be heavy enough to flex the sidewall of the tires so itll be a rough ride. My buddy ran 37" HUMVEE tires on his 99 f250 extended cab long bed with the 7.3 and it was to light for the tires. you can still run them but it'll be a more uncomfortable ride then with regular civilian tires. they are great off road been mudding in almost all the military vics and i haven't been stuck yet.

There is a guy on here with Michelin military tires... I think they are 38's or 40's... also you can't compare the performance of a military vehicle a a regular pick up... Those MTV's, HEMMTT, and HMWWV's are built with a low gear ratio... Plus with 6-8 wheels turning you'd have to be in a 5ft deep hole to get stuck then there's a big chance you won't...
