Default Mice in my truck

I have a 2000 F150XL stretchcab. The truck sits more than its driven. In the last two weeks I have trapped 8 mice in the cab. I keep the ventilation system in the off position when parked. Does any body out there have any ideas on how there getting in the cab.

Thanks
Dave

Mice can crawl around all over the place and they can get through very small openings. I would just recommend that you close up even the smallest opening you can find. I think this is going to be very difficult.

I suggest you clean out all of the KFC Chicken bones from your floor board and then they will not have a reason to get into your truck.

Eradication time. If it's gona sit for a while then set a bunch of traps outside of it till no more mice are caught. Problem solved!

Just spray one with OC, Then he'll go back and tell all his buddies not to F*#& with that truck!

Or buy some d-Con rat/mouse killer from home depot and strategically place them around your parking area.

Worst case, give a neighborhood $10 and a BB Gun and tell him to snipe any rodent he sees.

Good Luck!

Actually, I have seen people sprinkle Cayenne pepper inside their engine bay and around where their vehicles are kept and it keeps the rodents at bay. I would act quickly though. Working for a Volvo dealer, I have seen rodent damage cost over $7k to fix and once they start to deficate and then die in there, the smell will NEVER go away no matter what you do.

I guess i'm completely naive to this......? I honestly didn't think this was a widely spread issue.... I need to get out more.
