Default Vibration Ford Engineer unable to find a solution I found one .

Problem:vibration in the drive train ,

After changing transmission support driving shaft Engineers are trying to find the solution

Did he assessed ( engineer ) the situation by early road test :no

He tried my truck ( engineer ) after the tsb 11-9-17 has been completed.

Since then he can say yes to the ear 90% .

He gives his report to the service manager ,repaired to 90% .

Then I am bound by this report I go back to the beginning to customer service

The customer service said the engineers say 90% you are offered a good reward of $ XXXX

To solve my problem I reorder a 2012 FX4 , like I had with a 5.5 box rather than 6,5 they have the driving shaft 1 piece , it's over vibration I will do a road test for shure ,the seller will leave me the morning to do a road test .

I will have to pay $ 8500. for the 2012 less the reward $ xxxx

I can prove with my expertise that my truck vibrates ,them their 90% how can they prove it.

About $ 5000 for a 2012 it would be more expensive with lawyers when you talk to a seller of vibration never seen or never known .

Perhaps my experience could help someone else.

The 2012 was ordered today

What do you think of this approach your opinion .

So basically the solution is to buy a truck with a one piece driveshaft?

Half of what you have written doesnt make sense but I'm assuming this is the solution to the vibration problem you had.

Look at his location - Quebec. English isn't his first language.

If Quebec has a lemon law, I'd be wanting my other 90%.

Sounds as tho they are gonna give 10% of the cost for your troubles.

Default vibration

BassAckwards

Try that with google and let me know.

Good luck.

Default vibration

Half of what you have written doesnt make sense.

I'll try to clarify
The engineers are unable to completely eliminate the vibration they say they have eliminated 90%
If I return to the dealer the manager told me they can not do nothing more for your vibration problem you must live with.
To keep me as a customer they offer me a compensation, a discount on another vehicle, because they can not solve my problem.
This truck is great but without the vibration so I ordered the same configuration except the box 5.5 with a 1 piece D/Shaft.
One of my question was how engineers can do to estimate the 90% they tried my truck just one day why not 80%, 70%.
I hope I have been more understandable

If you have further questions let me know

this is not a good thing for Ford and they had better get it fixed and fast, i have been hearing about this more and more and not having a solution is going to **** a lot of people off, this is the main reason i will not buy the 1st year of anything new, i knew something would pop up with the eco-boost and it seem like it should be a simple fix but we will see if Ford will fix it

What year did Ford change to a 2 piece drive shaft in the Supercrew w/ 6.5 box?

My '07 Supercrew 6.5 box has a 1 piece drive shaft.

How did they eliminate 90% of the problem, rebalance the driveshafts or did they say they are 90% sure they know what is causing the vibration?

Last question, are you going with the ecoboost in the new truck?
