Man Step!

I have been looking for technical information on the tailgate step without success. Being 6'2" and 265 lbs. I want to know if the step has any max. weight limitations, and if continued use over yrs. will impact the integrity of the tailgate. ( I don't want a bent tailgate) Also, are they a rattler? And lastly will the box seal up tight with this option and a tonneau top on it?
I'm ready to order my truck, but the tailgate step option is still up in the air!:help:

The man step should be plenty stable.

My uncle has one on his 350, he is 6 foot, 250 and he gets in an out no problems. And no it does not rattle.

No rattling, no problems with tonneu covers, shouldnt end up with a bent tailgate(if you did, ford wouldnt be doing this step.

You have helped me make the decission. My wife will be happy also, because she wanted the step more than I even did.

Have you seen the ad from GMC where the spokesmen is making disparaging comments about the step gate, like it was somehow unmannely, tell that to an X football player with bad very painful knees that needs the help of these steps to get into the back of his truck. I wonder if I could retro fit my F150 with such a tail gate.

it's funny that chevy made fun of it for being somehow "wussy" but you see from the responses that the big, heavy guys all think it's a great. fail chevy...

p.s. i actually don't mind chevy, i just like my f150 above all half tons!
