Magna flow exhaust
I have decided on a magnaflow system for my truck but I'm pretty much lost after that. I'm thinking the 14" or 18"? I want a loud idle and loud when you step on it but quiet as possible at cruising/highway speeds. Also I want dual exits either behind the tires or strait out the bumper like on each side of the trailer hitch. Also would either of these placements give a different sound and I'm worried about sharp turns with a trailer hitting the tips if I go straight out the back? Thanks guys.

Best thing you can do is go to a local muffler shop. Maybe google reviews near you to find a reputable shop. Go in and talk to someone there. They will be able to help you out more than most people on this site.
If you want something that's loud with no drone on the highway look into SOLO because their J-pipe can "tune" out drone. And they are plenty loud when you step on it.

I have the 18" magnaflow but I also have LT headers and no cats, could not be any happier with the way it sounds.
Do you plan on leaving all the cats on? If you do I would get a small case muffler because those cats are going to eat up a lot of sound and it seems like you want it loud.

I've been looking at a dual exit Magnaflow or Borla system. My concern is that I want to keep the spare tire in place and some systems say that it must be removed. Have you looked into that?
