Magma Red vs Oxford White 2 tone
Placing a factory order today and keep going back an forth on colors.
Do you have any of these colors and what do you like or don't like? I live in New England so we'll have snow for 4 or 5 months of the year. Also have a 750' dirt driveway. My current silver hides the dirt really well.
- Magma Red - looks great when it appears cherry color but looks black otherwise
- Oxford white with two tone magnetic stripe - never thought about a white truck before but the stripe makes it different
- Magnetic - had a grey and a silver truck prior. A little different color.

Love my Magma Red when the sun is shining on it. If not then it looks like the color of Pepsi. At night it turns close to black but it does show scratches and dirt real easily. I chose it because there wasn't a million other Magma Red F 150's on the road.

I live in a very hot, dry, dusty climate. My interior color (Camel) was almost more important than the exterior due to how hot the inside of the truck can get in full sun. I chose Oxford white as the exterior as dark color vehicles (except for tan/brown) always look dirty here.

I live in a similar area as far as winter - we have basically 5 months of salt/sand on the roads. I live in a very rural area and the roads, although paved, just always seem dirty even in the warmer months.
White.
It’s amazing how white vehicles don’t show the winter dirt - until you start washing them - then you see how dirty it really is.
I’ve had 5 f150s over the last 33 years. All were Oxford White except for my 2008 which was grey. I loved the color on the lot and thought I would try something different. Big mistake for me - I ended up hating it. Even in the summer if I didn’t wash it every other day it looked dirty to me.
Color choice is a very person thing. You’re spending a lot of money - get what you want!

I like the Magma Red with stone gray.

Thanks everyone. As someone said color is a personal decision but it helps to hear others thoughts. I saw the magma red in person and since it looks black much of the time (at least to me) so I've eliminated that. Also eliminated Magnetic as I had a grey truck and am getting rid of a silver. So it's down to White/magnetic stripe or Stone Grey which i saw and kind of like. You know if I'd gone to the lot and they only had one color in my configuration I'd be happy with it. But getting to choose from everything ups the risk of choosing wrong factor. Placing the order at 1pm today so I've gotta make a call!

What did you get? I have oxford white, and though some days I wish I had a color that popped, it's nice knowing my truck always look clean even when it's not.

Good for you! The decision making process is the absolute worst for me. I was going to wait another 1-2 years to get another new one but ran into an off-lease Lariat about 3 weeks ago. It was actually creepy in that it was almost the same exact configuration of my FX4 w/luxury package. This Lariat had those couple things I wish my old truck had - it's as if I had ordered it myself. Talk about a grueling decision making process - do I take a chance on a 3 year old truck that is perfect or wait......I think it was worse than buying a new truck.

They were able to place an order for an 18, or is it a 19? I thought 18 order banks were closed. I got my order in for a Magma Red Platinum just in time from my dealer, a few more days and they would not have been able to order it. I love Magma Red, and with PPF and Ceramic coats should stay scratch free for a few years. I had a Tuxedo Black F150 and that color looked great even when dirty.
