Post Looking for the latest 5.0 TUNER suggestions

I have a 2012 5.0. I added an air intake but it seems that the stock tune and exhaust is slowing the system down. I know the factory tune in weak and I'm looking for a tuner with both towing and performance preloaded tunes as well as one that can restore my factory setting if I ever need to. I also need to change tire size data for the speedo. I prefer to know what you are using or have used as well as what to stay away from. Thanks
E

Just so's you know... That air intake added nothing to improve power or MPG nor will it with a tune.

Do it for the increased growl.

Do it for the engine bay cosmetics.

Do it for ANY other reason and you're wasting your $$$$$
  • 99% of any HP / FtLb / MPG /etc. increases are the result of the installed tune.

OEM, air intake system...
.
  • already CAI.
    • air intake from LH (driver) wheel well behind the inner fender shield.
    • air box has a lid. MEANING: It's not a HAI (HotAirIntake) allowing heated engine bay air.
    • is made-of plastic. MEANING: Less heat-soak.
    • IAT reading is nearly same as an aftermarket.
    .
  • OEM, Motorcraft air filters...
    • meets|exceeds engine air intake CFM requirements. *UNLESS über engine modifications are done. e.g. cylinder head and/or cams.
    • good for 30,000+ miles. *Depending upon conditions.
    • ABSOLUTELY NO possibility of MAF sensor oil contamination.
    • dispose and replace maintenance.
    .
  • After-Market...
    • any increase in air flow comes at the expense of filtration.
    • co$t of cleaning supplies and time involved.
    • (possibility of even minor) MAF sensor oil contamination. *Which reduces performance and MPG.
    • there are NO performance and/or MPG gains.

Wow, other than your lack of scientific knowledge. You totally missed the point of the question. IT'S ABOUT TUNERS

Look at the Omega tune from Oz tuning. It is what me and numerous members here use.
