Default Looking for insight into Ford incentives

Nobody can predict the future but I'm in a tight spot and looking for opinions. I get the A-plan and found the exact 2017 XLT I want. I'm getting a ton of incentives on top of the A-plan and put a deposit on the truck but the dealer won't deliver because this truck is under the frozen door latch recall. They have no ETA for parts and I'm stuck waiting. Most of these big incentives expire at the end of 2017 and I'm concerned if I take delivery in Janurary or Februrary (or later) I'm going to pay 1000's more than the current price. Do the previous model year incentives generally extend into spring or should I get my deposit back and try and find a different 2017. I'm not hip on the 2018's at all. That grill looks horrible to me and I really want to grab a blacked-out sport 2017. Thanks for any advice...

No one can tell the future. Likely no worse, possibly better. No guarantees.

I get it. Just wondering of anyone has been in this position before and how it turned out.

Incentives are based on delivery date.

An even more basic question, current list of incentives?

Looking generically elsewhere does not seem to tell a complete story.

Not true if you ORDER. If you order, the dealer can lock in the incentives at time of ordering. Then, at delivery, the customer gets a choice.

One would think that given the inability to sell specific vehicles, a dealer MIGHT be able to contact Ford and get the incentives locked for a particular customer for a particular vehicle pending recall work being done.

The second and third links are to actual Ford Incentive sites. You put your zip code in and get the incentives for your area. I'm not sure what else you are looking for?
