I've had a cover on mine for 13 years... bottom is scuffed and tail gate is scuffed from use, but sides look great.

If you are using a cover, I wouldn't pay the extra.

Anyone have success with color matching? Have a 2011 F150 Lariat SCrew in White Platinum Metallic... would love to keep the bed color matched, but imagine white (or any light color) would be near impossible to keep clean. Black would be a direct contrast to the white.
Planning for a tonneau as well... so maybe color match is not so important. Not expecting to haul any heavy stuff (bricks/rocks) that might damage the bed, but will haul coolers/tool boxes, spare parts to the race track.

Would appreciate anyone sharing good pics of color matches.
