Default Lifting Truck

I have a 02 XLT 2 door f150 4x2. I am wanting to lift it and add tires and rims. But I need help or advice on what kind of tires and rims and how big of a lift. Thank you.

Your question is kind of vague. Are you wanting to sit eye to eye with the driver of the 18 wheeler beside you? Do you have $100 to spend on each rim? Or $1000? Same for tires. $100 or $1000 per tire. Are you worried at all about going from 16 mpg to 5 mpg?

Just some points to ponder.

I was thinking a 3in lift and I don't know what size tires would fit. I just wanted an idea of what somebody else would do. So I can go from there. It's not an everyday truck. I'm not going to be driving it everywhere I go. I got a different car for that. The farthest this truck will go is 20 miles from my town.

3 in leveling kit and 3 in spindle lift. With an AAL and bigger block in the back. Should clear 35's easily on a 2wd, if you're motivated enough you could probably squeeze 37's under there. Of you get a 3" body lift on there you'll definitely be able to put some rubber under that truck

First off..why do you want to lift a 2WD truck? second, please don't put a body lift under your truck.... finally, I think with a 3 inch suspension there is no reason you couldn't clear 35's. Go to Discounttiredirect.com for tires (they price match) and 4wheelsparts.com for wheels and lift, there are other sites just use the fancy google tool on the internet machine

Because he can, there's nothing wrong with a body lift when it's done CORRECTLY.

And 3" and 35's, kinda sketchy on a 2wd I think
