I noticed a slight decrease in MPG on my 2018 F150 after having a base leveling kit installed, the numbers were noticeably worse when I was towing my RV. However, what I noticed immediately was a change in how the truck felt on the highway, there was enough change in road comfort for me to have the leveling kit removed.

You asked about losing MPG because of a leveling kit, but never mentioned the 11% increase in tire size....The MPG loss is from the tires, not the level. And it's compounded by not adjusting the speedometer (you are traveling farther than the odometer is reading). Add back 10% for a more reasonable number. Also, check it by hand and don't just rely on the instant readout for accurate MPG calculation.

I had a leveling kit on mine for a year before I went up in tire size. I saw a 0.1 mpg with the leveling kit on average. Going with heavier off road tires only cost me 1 mpg after re-calibrating the speedo. I went from a 39 lb tire to a 61 lb tire.
Before re-calibration, it said I was getting 3 mpg worse. SO I'd say you just need to fix your speedo.

Can somebody explain how to re-calibrate the odometer and speeds? Just bought a 2018 with bigger wheels and tires, can't remember the exact dimensions but I'm pretty sure the dealer didn't re-calibrate it after adding them. I was getting 15 mpg on the highway in the 3.5L ecoboost.

you may be able to do it with Forscan. Some of the guys with the newer trucks can chime in on that. I updated my speedo by getting a custom tune from MPT and an SCT tuner
