Letting the Truck Sit
How long is too long to let the truck sit in between driving it? I've heard varying opinions on this and was just curious what everyone here thinks.
I drive a small commuter car during the week so my truck only hits the pavement on the weekends, I'll admit that some weekends involve more truck time then others ranging anywhere from a quick trip around town to a good long run up the highway. As long as I get it out once a week at least I don't think I'd run into the issues that come with letting your vehicle sit for too long in between drives.
But what do you guys who don't use their truck as their primary DD think?

I have '99 with 73K and '89 Bronco with 105K. Its never caused any problems. I have stored them for 5 months at a time. I put Stable in the gas tank then. They always sit for week or 2 at a time. Both have very little rust. Run great.
I had 2014 for 6 months with 4K miles and will drive it same way... All bought new from the factory...
If you don't drive enough to keep battery charged you will have to use battery maintainer or charger.

I have a 2005, it does sit every now & then for 1 week at a time
I drive less then 3800 miles a year
Just replaced the original battery after 9 years
I've never had any problems
If I was going to let it sit for several months I might worry
