I apply several layers. It's been suggested to use Turtle Wax Ice Spray Wax but I don't think brand matters.
As for the dressing, I would use wax or Dressing but not both. Save the dressing for wheels or what you want to shine more. I'm not sure they will both play well together.

google some glossifier comparison picks or do a side by side on a piece of metal before you apply it to your black. I personally wasn't happy with the look - found it looked more like an amateur paint job. I'm really happy with the look of the black on its own.

Yes lake stated above adding some spray wax helped darken the plasti up a bit and makes it feel smoother and less like rubber. Plastidip.com has a new product that is made for this spacific purpose.

Anyone use white plastidip on Oxford white? How close does it match? I want to do my grill surround but don't want to waste the time and $ if it's not a close match.
