Storm trooper, awesome haha. It only took 4 1/2 cans to do everything. I did a LOT of very thin coats but it came out really nice for rattle can plasti.

Here's my '13 after a few coats of PD to get rid of the chrome. Next up that grille surround and I'll be finished.

U should use red plasti dip on ur grille surround followed by clear coat. So it wont be too much blacked out. Just my 2 cents

Lets see those plasti-dip projects-image-2819590812.jpg My plasti dip on my bumpers is STILL holding up good after many months and tht includes pressure washer, mudding, bug splatters, etc. i put a total of 7 coats of PD and 7 coats of PD glossifier. Touched up one spot on the chrome part where a rock hit and peeled a little piece of the PD off, but cant tell now

I've really thought about it. Not sure how far off the red PD is to the actual color though. I have some PTM the body and I've been thinking about using white PD first and then going over it with the red. I dunno how it will turn out though.

Or you should just paint the bumpers and grille surround with real matching paint.

Thats a good idea. That way u dont have to sand anything down. The pain sticks good on pd
