Ok guys I picked up a light bar for free from a guy at work, it's brand new. I hooked it up but I spliced the contact wire into my parking lights. What happens is the light bar only works when my parking lights or lights are on. I need a constant hot wire to be a power source. Do you guys know of any wires back that way that are constantly hot so my bar can work all the time? Here is a picture by the way

I was reading about those, thought they connected to the 4 wire trailer light wires.

They do but mine also has reverse which has to be spliced into the reverse lights. And it hasta be hooked to a constant hot wire. They make both types of light bars. My buddy has the plug and go kind and mine is 100xs nicer
