Default leather Seats Spots

I have a new 2012 lariat with Adobe leather seats and my wife put a check book in the seat and the dye transfer from it to the seat.I saw it the next day and try to clean it for a hour with lexal and other cleaner and removed 90% of it but it is anew truck and I would like to get it 100% out what is the best thing to do? I called leather MD and he said he could redye the spot.. What would you guys do??

But on a serious note.

If youre on the computer, look at the side advertisments. There is one Thats "canadaseatskins.com" or something to that effect....

Click on it and check it out. One guy on here re did his xlt screw truck with leather ones for 850.

Maybe you can come across an original skin.

If not, go to the dealership and buy a new one.

You would have to remove the seat and the original skin, is actually zippered. Yep, just like a tent door.

Anyways man. Hope this helps you.

Has anybody tried to remove the lower seat cover on bucket seat that are heated and cooled??

yes there is... i can't remember who i talked to last week that replaced his seat covers man.

i looked on my 2010, seen a zipper... seems pretty strait forward.

i'm gonna try to get on finding out who that is again for you.

this guy installed new seat skins on his 2009 f150. which is the same as your 2012 when it comes to seats.

he went with heated leather and got the heaters too.

anyways, look at his photo albums on this profile, should help you out man. and he's always willing to help you out with the process.
