You will get a lot of ''pollar opposite'' answers here, as everyone have their own opinions/experiences You should be fine running 33s on that setup. Your performance loss will not be that bad, unless you install 100lbs tires lol.

Guess the people who will tell you it's not OK to run 33s with 3.15 gears are the same people what will tell you do to 5k oil change instead of the recommended 10k.

Hey, I take offense to that! I say it's ok to run 33's but do 5k oil changes haha.

If you have the money for a re-gear, I suggest you upgrade to your 33's and see how you like it. If you feel like the performance or fuel economy isn't up to your standards, then pay for a re-gear. Like Dustoff24 said, he has 35's with a 6" lift and it's fine.
This is what I would do..

It's no big deal to the OP. He doesn't haul or tow. The tranny has 10 gears to choose from. It's fine.

I have a 2018 2.7L Ecoboost, I changed the stock 265/60/R18 wheels and tires to 275/65/R20 (33"). I was not aware of the noticeable decrease this would have on my truck's performance. I have the Sport edition so it had lots of power, now it's slow to respond and does not shift right. Everyone I talked to told me that since the change in tire size was so minimal, that it would be fine and I would not notice anything different. This is the furthest thing from the truth. I just received a speedo calibrator today and am going to make the necessary adjustments today to get my truck back to the way it's supposed to be.

it may not be the size affecting you, but how much heavier your wheels and tires are. That unsprung weight affects power/acceleration more than such a small increase in size.

I have a 3.5 Eco with 3.55 gears. I put the Bilsteins on it with Raptor take-offs and 315/70R17 E-rated tires, which are around 34.5". They are heavy. I have taken a 2 mpg hit from this set-up, but my acceleration is still awesome. I may have lost some, but if I did, it ain't much.
