Hey guys, I've been looking into plasti dip and was wondering what I should do first. I want to do the rims, but I want to get practice at it first and how durable is the paint on the rims? Will it last? Here's a pic of my truck.

Peel it off if you screw up. Plastidip everything!
If you really like how it looks go back and peel it off and repaint with something more permanent

I'm fascinated with this whole idea: it seems to be quite the fad on this forum right now. But does anyone have any LONG term success with this?

1) do you end up having to re-do this more than once a year?
2) can you REALLY just peel it off if it's been on a year or two? I understand you can right away, but you can do the same thing with masking tape. A year or two later, different story.

I just plasti dipped my Leather seats.. I'm going to plasti dip my gauge cluster next an then I plan to do my windshield..

there was another thread somewhere where a guy asked about plasti-dipping his windows. and yes, he was serious lol.
