Damn - that's a lot of condensation...what happens to the moisture when there is no hole.


Hell, everyone in California should buy an EB 2015 and then they would have an answer to their lack of water from droughts...

I've had the shudder happen once. Took it to the dealer and they did the reflash. I'm not drilling a hole in the CAC when the truck is under warranty. If I have problems, it will be Ford's problem to fix.

Before I bought my V8, two separate Ford Service Mgrs. Told me to stay away from the Ecoboost in south Florida. Amen.

Got the email too so I'll chime in. I bought a new 2011 Eco 4x4 in April of 2011. One of the early ones. I had the shudder issue once with about 1000 miles on the odo. Took it to the dealership and they replaced the catalytic converter and did a reflash. The truck now has 70K miles on it and I've had not had 1 problem since. I live in the humid south. I"ve never had to drill any holes in the intercooler or replace a single plug or throttle body. Work with your dealer folks.
