iphone app to connect f150

Who knows what app I need for my '16 to plug in iphone to show GPS on the dash screen. I was told there is a way to tether from the phone to the truck to show the phone screen. ?????

You need sync 3 and apple car play is the app and need to plug phone into USB port for it to work
