P0721 & p2112
Hello,
Last week while I was driving, the truck went into a limp mode with a huge wrench lighting up on the dashboard. It cleared after two attempts and limp mode was gone as well but it had check engine light. Diagnosed it at a local auto shop and the codes were:
P0721 - Output shaft speed sensor circuit range/performance
P2112 - Throttle Actuator control system - stuck closed
I took it to my usual mechanic, he said it has to do with transmission so I took it to a transmission shop. They recommended replacing transmission for $4295.
Any thoughts or recommendations? I would like to keep this truck at least for the next five years.
Model : 2013 F150 v6 eco boost with 154k miles on it.
