I just recently changed my intake manifold on my 2017 f150 5.0 due to the runner control rod breaking. I changed the manifold Saturday and have started to notice a bad gas smell in the cab yesterday (monday) and it’s gotten worse today (Tuesday). I noticed a sucking noise that happens every 3-5 seconds coming from the cylinder on the back of the manifold and it moves a little bit. I’m 90% sure all of the hoses and connections went back as before on the back of the manifold when re installing and all the bolts bolting it down are tightened. The manifold I used to replace it is the Dorman model from advanced auto parts. Below is the mystery cylinder making the noise. I just need to know if I have a vacuum leak, if this is normal, and how to get rid of the gas smell. Any advice is appreciated thanks!

just figured I’d update everyone with my issues. The gas small was caused my a pinched o ring when I re installed them into my fuel rail and the constant actuator functions and noises where caused by codes being Thrown which were p2019 and p2014 relating to the imrc sensors, turns out after some investigating I did not index the sensor position correctly when re installing them on the new manifold. So in short MAKE SURE TO INDEX THEM CORRECTLY WHEN REINSTALLING. Hope this saves someone a headache or two. Good luck.
