I'm paying right at $1000 a year with State Farm and that's with low deductibles.

I'm with you on this one, I'm paying $497 a month, it's my fault though, I got 2 tickets within 6 months when I only had my G2 (Ontario). Should be going down drastically on January when I re-sign, since I now have my G and my
Broker said she could probably get at least 1, if not both tickets off my record early!!

300k per accident/under insured/uninsured and 100k property. So I have full coverage, we also have the wife's car and our house insured with them so we have a few discounts.

Company I am through is Pekin Insurance i would look into them if they are in your area and I have an at-fault accident on my record(totaled a 2002 Silverado in 2008 )

I forgot I have my wives Wrangler on the policy too, haha. I have a little better coverage, 500k per accident and 300k property. We are probably about the same actually. Im with Progressive and they have been wonderful, been with them for 8 years without a single complaint. They even handled my wrecks that werent my fault.

Be careful, not all full coverage plans are created equal.

Ask for 100/300/100. That is the minimum you want to be fully protected.

All states have different minimum requirements. On the high side they are normally 50/100/50. You hit one Mercedes, and you could quickly find your coverage isn't so full coverage as you think.

Also, the cost it's highly corelated to the deductible you chose. Chose the highest deductible you can afford from your emergency fund.

Im paying 98 a month with geico. Full coverage on a 06 explorer and storage on my 08 f150 for now. It is 175 a month for full on both. Its a 50/100/50 policy. Serves us well and it has vandalism, glass, and a $500 deduc. Couldnt complain too much there.

I dont know how you guys can pay 400 plus a month id sell my cars and walk. Im only 24 and have had my fair share of tickets and fender benders.
