If it was a truck built for the US market, wouldn't the mph be listed at the top of the speedometer

Meh. Was just trying to help. I'll keep it to myself then & just let people figure it for themselves. I've got my truck working and making great MPG the way I run it.

It's off over time. It's about getting an accurate result when posting.

There is a setting to go from imperial to metric.

I pretty sure there's a menu setting to switch it to KM I glanced over it while looking at the manual check it if you want to change it.

Al,
I was getting the same MPG as you in my truck, 157WB, 3.73. The only way I improved the milage on the freeway was to get a ECON tune. Now I see 23 MPG on the freeway.

I have a 13 S-Crew Ecoboost 3.73

City-15
Hwy-19-22(houston to galveston @ 70 on cruise control)
Towing-13-14

22" wheels
What size tires?
Lift? Leveled?

I did notice from mine to a buds truck the big difference in fuel milage when he put a level and 1 size bigger tire. It kills the ecoboost milage.

The Livernois Motorsports tuner with the 93 octane tune REALLY wakes up the Ecoboost...

Street Tires: 275/45/22, and it's not lifted. The dealer told me the rear of the truck was about an inch higher for towing. I could probably get 20 mpg on the highway driving 55 but that is way too slow for me especially in TX. On this tank I might only get 14mpg and 40% of those miles were highway. I love the truck and my only complaint is the mpg.

I use 87 octane.

What is a Econ tune and where can I get one? Will it void the warranty?

i have an eco with 22s but not the 3.73s and if i keep it at 65 mph i get easily 21 mpg with a load in the back.. with no load i can run 70 mph and get the same fuel economy.. i also have mods which contribute to the gas mileage, so perhaps i would look at that route

I call total BS on this one, I smell a reset of the gauge. Show the trip display with 3-400 miles on it and 23mpg. You sir would have a damn world record for best ECO MPG ever!

I have the same truck SuperCrew FX4 with 3.55's on stock tires at 70mph 16mpg tops, my truck has never seen 20 anything, ever and i live in FL where it's flat as a pancake. My truck has 2000 miles on it already. I have now have 33" BFG All Terrains and 2" level and on my best day mixed 13.7mpg, full interstate 15mpg. I did a K&N and Exhaust and saw 16 for the first time today.

I'd like to hear the answer to this too. The speedometer has KPH instead of MPH on the top.

US models have MPG on the outer ring.
