Default I thoroughly pissed off my big brother . . .

We had the whole family at the house and decided to jump into the PU's for a run to the marina. 5 adults in my Ecoboost and 5 in his Sierra or whatever GM offers.

We were at a stop sign that led to the on ramp on the freeway. Being the very conservative driver I am, I crept through the stop sign, after the full stop of course. Big bro behind me was impatient and on me ****! You see, he has always had the fasted car. Maybe not the nicest but always the fastest.

Being a conservative driver and aware of the person behind me I decided I MUST get up to freeway speed to SAFELY merge into traffic. A little extra on my part will leave the person behind me room enough to also get up to speed.

So with safety in my heart, I pressed the accelerator down. I was immediately greeted with the turbo whine and great feel of acceleration!

I was able to SO KINDLY leave my big brother LOTS of room to accelerate to the best of his ability so he could also safely merge into traffic!

Nothing was said to me at the marina. Not even a thank you for giving him AMPLE room for acceleration!

His new turbo kit just arrive last weekend! LOL!

I love my family!
Scott

Just wait until the ecoboost stutter makes its appearance. That really is the downfall of the engine - never know when it will happen, but when it does, hopefully doesn't kill anyone.

Gotta love Newbies that try and kill a great story....

They should have named this motor EcoBeast!! And I think you'll be just fine and plenty safe.

Ecoboost stutter? You mean traction control cause the EB spins tires like its nobodies business?

The ecoboost stutter is dangerous stuff. Installing new plugs gapped correctly and a weep hole prolong the inevitable stutter. Very common eco problem. Watch all the Makuloco youtube ford tech videos... primary problem vehicles are ecos
