So any plans to upgrade anything? Wheels, tires, tint, floormats?

I'm glad you actually bought something...so many of these threads do not end up this way.

I notice they are some small areas where there are rust spots underneath, should I spray them with rust convertor ??

Definitely a smart choice going with the '13. Going from driving my dad's '15 for a year when I had my permit to driving my '10 for the past year I would never wanna go back. Every once in a while I like to take out the '15 for a drive cause it's fast, but my dad and I both agree that I have the better truck because it just feels stronger and rides much better (even with mine having 205k+ miles on it compared to his 75k). The 09-14 body style is one of the best if not the best IMO. You definitely won't regret your purchase.

Get some POR 15, and a UV protective cover paint. knock down any scale, but don't grind the rust. Spray or brush the POR on, let it cure and rust is a thing of the past. Top coat it as UV can damage the coating.

so.....they are getting a quote to replace the windshield,,,now my thinking is they will call me back and try to get ME to pay for all or part of it...so do I

1) say no way im paying for any of it and see if they are willing to let me walk

2) agree to pay a few hundred

3) tell them to leave as is and IF it spreads or gets worse turn it in on my insurance that has glass coverage but may increase my rate

im sure they are still making money which I know they have to and I don't have a lot of sympathy for car dealers but....I don't wanna be a dick either

I wouldn't pay a dime for a new windshield. Push them to fix it, if not I'd leave it with just the injection. I've fixed 2 windshields like that and drove them for 4 more years before selling them and never had the crack grow any larger.
