Congrats. This thread may be pushing me towards a 2014 Lariat.
Lots of threads talk about how they ride better and feel more stable.

I like the ride, steel body, steel oil pan, leather seat not all wrinkled up like the newer ones

If they absorb the cost hell yeah, there's nothing like a new windshield for clarity. With 50k miles I'd be willing to bet that one is pitted from all the miles ,clearly obvious when driving at night or sunrise/sunset and the light catches it just so to make it look like your staring thru a million tiny little starbursts. That and windshield wipers will last longer as a direct result.

50,000 miles of being sand blasted by the elements is worse than even the cheapest windshield so long as it's DOT approved.
