Well i got 12/12k bumper to bumper warranty and the 7/100 powertrain so I'm fine with that...
it isn't worth me paying 16k more for a new truck just to cover some electronics,,,
ive seen the XLTs and even the new ones are nothing like the Lariat
also there is no other truck I've seen for this price with everything this has so,,,

Also keep in mind all those electronic gadgets are 5 yrs/50k miles old, you should expect some of it to start failing. When who knows but your closer to it than if you bought new. The newer XLT's are even more nicely equipped than the 13 as well.

The reason the newer truck seems rougher is because it's carrying a lot less weight on it's back with the aluminum body compared to the steel body 13.

He said when they were going over it for the CPO they have to check like 175? things and in the back seat they found a cover for the USB or something that was cracked, they needed to order the part and it will be there tomorrow..
They sent me the workorder info from when the truck was sold and I see the original owners name and ph number,,, score !
I called and they were very nice and told me everything, she said we traded it because my husband is " an idiot" and wanted a Raptor,,,
She said he babied that truck and wouldn't even leave it when he took it in for oil changes,,, no kids or pets,, no smoking etc
so probably have it tomorrow...
Hope it all works out and it will keep my new 28 x 40 empty garage company

I use to do the CPO inspections at my dealer albeit 14 years ago but yeah 175 point inspection sounds about right and yeah they do repair little things like that because they can't sell the CPO without certifying the entire inspection is complete. Ford is very strict on that because if only a few days go by after the sale and something comes up that's covered, the dealer will have to eat it or have to explain to Ford why it wasn't found to begin with as well as risking losing CPO certification status.

P.S. Don't be fooled into thinking they are paying for the CPO or any issues found, they work that into the sale price to the new owner.

So they told me the CPO is complete... there is a very tiny chip in the lower windshield... wouldn't the CPO pick that up or not ?? They had it injected and again its tiny but should I have them replace the windshield ???
And will I get some paperwork when I pick it up showing it's a CPO vehicle ???

Glass is usually exempted from CPO unless it's safety related ie: long crack right in the drivers view. If they had it injected to stop spread your golden. Yes you should get a CPO certificate. Looks exactly like a Ford ESP certificate or it use to. I'm going on 14 years ago so they may have changed something.

Yeah that's normal, the epoxy is just there to stop spread, not make it invisible.
