Thanks for all the input so far, its given me a couple more options than i had before. I forgot about the Super Swamper Trxus til now so ill have to look into those. Like alot of you said, i'm not going to get an inexpensive tire of this size with all the characteristics i'm looking for so I might just end up throwing everything out and getting some Boggers or TSLs and having some sick tires for my Senior year haha

Actually.....Yeah I have run the Trxus. If you read the post you will see I said, "Super Swamper Trxus....Less mileage, not too much road noise, GREAT offroad performance". Meaning, You will NOT get as many miles out of these as you will with something like the Toyo's or the Cooper's or even the PC's...The road noise is not that bad...and they are GREAT offroad. Ive ran them in mud, beach sand, regular sand, snow, and on ice. I never talk about tires I have not ran myself or have 1st hand knowledge of via our hunting club/truck buddys where I have seen them perform and know the mileage out of them. I have ran many sets of SuperSwampers TSL, TSL SX, Thornbirds, Boggers (which is the only thing that will ever go on my truck from now on lol), LTB's, Trxus, and as soon as they put them out in a 33x12.5x20 Im going to run the Vortrac's on my other truck. The one I want to see is the new M16's.....If you have seen these run Id like your input.

I have ran the PC AT's (which are a good AT tire and would choose over the BFG AT anyday), the PC MT's which I got 37k on the 35's in the garage and still have 1/3 tread on them (they will out perform any tire Ive seen with similar tread pattern EXCEPT the Bridgestone Dueler MT), I also have 1st hand knowledge of the PC Xterrains which are holding up VERY well with about 12K on them with really no tread wear and perform almost as well as the Trxus.

I am sorry you dont like PC tires but I have 1st hand knowledge of at least 6 sets of them various types and they have ALL been very good tires. To each his own.

I also will not talk about tires unless I have first hand knowledge....while I was working in offroad shops I pulled off more sets of ProComp tires than I put on....people with many many complaints....there are quite a few law suits against them right now too..... I used to run some of tha take offs on the trails because I knew if they had flat spots or couldn't balance or tread issues I could blow them out on the trail and have another for no charge....they sucked offroad just as much as on road....I will never let someone I know buy a set of procomp tires.....wheels and lifts are good but their tires are horrible.....

As for Interco, I love their tires.....Im not a huge fan of the super aggressive ones like the Boggers and thornbirds but I also don't do a lot of mud here in Arizona....lol....its all sandy, or the trails are very dry...

My Bronco runs the 37" VorTrac and I do have to say I am very very impressed with this tire.....my dodge runs the 40" Truxus STS and I like this tire a lot....My superduty runs the 40" IROK's which is a good tire but wears quick, and my F150 runs the 33" Truxus M/T, which isn't as good on road as the VorTrac but its a little better offroad

Im AMAZED! No lie man, Im in FL and know A LOT OF PEOPLE who go offroading around here. I hunt in GA so I get the good (nasty) clay too. I will tell you I have never heard of what your talking about around here, but I will not argue with you cause your in complete different conditions and you were in the business. My PC MT were AWESOME in the mud and did very well at the beach and in regular sand. The PC AT's my dad has and my bro had are an awesome AT tire. WOW Im just shocked, do you think it has something to do with the conditions? Maybe a bad mold from a specific factory?

I LOVE MY BOGGERS! I will not have another set of tires on my Ford! lol Have you ever run Thornbirds? DONT DONT DONT!!!! THEY ARE AWEFUL! Take you dissapointment in the PC tires and double it LOLOLOL no seriously they are that bad! If your in a lot of sand you DO NOT WANT BOGGERS! These tires will get you stuck in soft sand in a HEARTBEAT!!!! I mean they are enginered to DIG and let me tell you bro thats what they do lol all the way down to the pumpkin! lol Ive had to play cool out at the beach more than one time with the rear burried having to get out and lock the front in acting like it was all planned out....LOL

TELL ME TELL ME TELL ME all about the vortrac's.....Have you had them in mud yet?????

Ive NEVER heard of anyone liking the STS. Good on the pavement and OK on the dirt but wear out SUPER fast. I almost got the 42x11x15 IROK's, man I was SO close to getting them but I just could not pass up the look of the 38.5x15x15 BOGGER's. I really wanted the 39x18x15 BOGGERS but I would have had to go up more than my 10inches for those... Dont want a bodylift and i have the Twin-I front (its great offroading but cant go too high with it) and still had to have my fenders cut and remolded to fit the 38.5x15x15's...The width killed me.

Please do! How do you like them and how do they do in the conditions you have had them in?

Kweezy, I doubt you're doing a lot of muddin in Port Angeles. I'd imagine your offroad adventures are similar to mine: logging roads and trails up in the hills. I've tried just about every brand over the years and in my opinion you've got two choices. First and best is the BFG All Terrain. They're in the middle of their price range, but good deals can often be found at Walmart (or Costco if you can get them to install oversized tires on your rig). BFGs are great on logging trails, excellent in the snow and wear like iron. If all else fails, Discount Tire will match prices. Your second choice is the Toyo Open Country AT. Their performance off road is not as good as the BFG but they're quieter on the highway, and you'll likely be replacing them a little sooner. Good thing about the Toyo is they're sold at Les Scwab, so you get the service... Good luck

Thanks but no thanks, i have the Pro Comp all terrains and they are pretty bad, theres not alot of off roading around here but its enough to count so i definitely want some m/t's, plus it makes the truck look better. So far i have to choose from TSLs, BFG m/t's, and cooper discoverers
