It could of been worse. A naked man could of eaten your face off after the dumb-*** backed into you. Instead of just your truck going to the body shop, you would of been going to a plastic surgeon so the doctor could cut slithers off your *** to replace the pieces missing from your face. The health insurance you have could of denied the claim after the operation because it doesnt cover half assed work and you got stuck with the whole bill. Now which way would you rather have it? Dented rear quater panel or dented rear quater panel, an ***-face and an empty wallet? Hope this cheers you up.

That sucks. On the bright side at least you know who did the damage and her insurance will pay. My last truck was keyed down the entire side. No witnesses.....my insurance had to pay. My current truck was backed into while i was working and I had to get a new rear bumper......again my insurance had to pay because there are very few honest people left in this world that will own up to a mistake.. Like you said, it's just a truck, but it could always be worse.

But yea it does suck. I'm still bummed but kind of over it now. I went out with some old detail supplies and got a good bit of the paint transfer off. Luckily her suv was black. So the damage doesn't look as bad now and isn't as noticeable aside from the dent, deep scratches and obviously bumper mashed in. I tried to pull it put some but it ain't budging.

My work is going to pick up the tab. Blew me away but I work for a great company so I'm thankful. I think they are taking care of her ride too. She works in accounting and the accounting manager and her came down to talk about it. She still said she would do insurance. I said I didn't care so long as it was fixed and glad nobody was hurt. I mentioned what if someone was just walking thru the lot like normal. This isn't the first time cars have been hit in the lot and they know weve outgrown it. I don't know but just glad ya going to get fixed and not having to deal with insurance. I will expense out the rental lol weird . It is on private propert so police don't file wrecks on those I don't think. Plus it would of been embarrassing but would of had to be done otherwise.

Just sucks but what can ya do. People just don't pay attention.

I've had someone back into my truck before and it sucks, but OP, you need to learn to chill out a bit.

Accidents happen, no matter how careful you are. It sounds like it was a minor wreck, she got out and tried to be helpful and your post berates her as if she's an idiot. I'm sure you've never had a temporary lapse in judgement before?

Take a deep breath, file your insurance claim and move on with life. There's no sense in getting so worked up over some sheet metal and paint work.
