If someone had the time and wanted to have some fun with the dealership, this could be interesting. Build a case that the dealership intentionally or has a history of using false advertising (which according to Tex, the dealership is known for):
- through BBB complaints;
- through city/state consumer protection bureau complaints,
- Document and preserve past (using the wayback machine website) and present "false advertising" adds on the internet.

Armed with this info in hand, go to the dealership when you see another ridiculous promotion like the one Tex pointed out and try to wheel and deal to see what happens.

Despite the disclaimer, if one could show that the dealership purposefully/intentionally engages in false advertising, it could bite them in the a**. Who, though would have the time and $$ to fight that battle? Sometimes I wish I was an attorney.

My step sister is an attorney. She said the only way the dealership could be held liable is if it can be proved that they posted the incorrect prices on purpose. Even though there is a history of incorrect pricing already, there is no solid proof it was done intentionally

You could always go up there with your four 100 dollar bills and that ad printed out and demand they honor it. Then make a huge scene. Yell, scream, lay on the floor, cry, kick over a brochure stand, etc. Tell them you thought you could finally afford the truck of your dreams and threaten to sue for mental anguish. Bait and Switch!
Hell, they might give you a free cup of coffee just to get rid of you lol

They would honor it and then say that the title fee is $54,000.

BTW I love how that XL below it is going for over $5000 more than what I got my V8 STX for.

This stealership is HORRIBLE for marking up prices. They try and justify it by claiming they pay higher property taxes being in Jersey Village (small town in NW Houston)
