I finally got LED headlight installed, easy to do, as shown in the figure below.

Ok, I finally got them installed. Pretty easy to do, easy for a 2015 that is since you have to install bulbs from underneath through the fenders. They're pretty bright too, although I haven't seen them at night yet. I'll get some night shots tonight.

That last pic is LEDs on the right, factory on the left. I already had LED bulbs in my fogs.

Ya mean you did not have the remove the entire headlight to install the bulbs? You can get them from behind while leaving the headlights in? How? When I do mine that is the way I want to do it

Just take out the headlights IMO. It took me less than 15 minutes each headlight. Why mess with wonky angles and reaching when its cake to do?

I hear ya. Was fearful of snapping the painted trim around the lights removing it.. That would ruin my day

That piece, along with the fender trim is very flexable. It's easier to remove them and ensure you get a good seal with the boot instead of getting condensation issues later.

That's how Ford tells you to get to the bulbs, from the wheel well area. However with some LED/HID kits you'll need a lot more access then you can get behind the wheel well, so that's why it's recommended on a lot of kits to remove the bulb. The old cheaper kits that have no LED driver are a bit easier to install, since there is no driver. Some of them have big heatsinks though so it may or may not fit. Every kit's different but yeah, you CAN go in from the wheel well if you need to.
