I would be job shopping for sure. I'm not sure where you live, but farms around here all but shut down in the winter. If I need some extra money over the winter (which I always do when it's snowmobile season) I put my truck to work and sell firewood. At $50 a cord delivered, I do pretty dang good. Me and my buddy who is a farmer have done that since we got our drivers licenses. His dad has a lot of property that needs to be clear cut to be tiled and turned into farm land, so we cut it and haul it and in return we get to sell it. So that's something to consider. Not sure if it could work for you or not.

Haha 3.06 a gallon! But I get 11mpg and drive bout 50 miles a day so bout 350 a week. I debate sellin my truck everyday but then I walk outside and see it or get behind the wheel and I say what the hell was I thinkin I love this ol gas hog! Stick with it. It will get better i promise. I make anywhere from 400 to 500 a week as a mechanic (makin 11.02)workin closing hours at national tire and battery after I get out of nadc so I don't get much work, more sittin around and cleanin. But we pay out general service techs 5.50 an hour plus commission so you can make more than minimum wage if you bust your butt and work hard.

Tech School for an RN? My wife's a RN she had to go to a University then get accepted into the nursing program. But any case then I really wouldn't worry about! My wife make almost $90k a year. By the time u finish school & get a job you'd be making pretty damn good $ right off the bat. Then get a bend new tryck

I know what u mean, but if he's gonna be a RN he's gonna be making awesome $ right away. My wife is a charge nurse where she works & tells me kids right out of college are coming in starting at $28-$30 an hour. But it's not like that for every trade. But nursing is a great occupation

Jobs here aren't scarce but not plentiful either, I got my last two jobs cause of a family hookup. I may just have another job 7 miles from home which would help a lot!
