And actually it might be 9.75, but I guess it makes up for the 1.20/L gas and 250+ monthly insurance

I really don't see how buying a second vehicle will save you anything in the long run.

It's not as good as it seems though, I only get 2-8 hours a week at the higher paying job, and start time varies between 8pm to 4am. But hey it pays for gas and part of my insurance while the other job pays for play money.

^^ I was close and that's why mentioned a new job and not a car as a dd, if the states are like Ontario trucks are cheaper for males to insure compared to cars. Possibly because trucks are slower idk, but a buddy of mine is paying 330 a month to insure a old Sunfire. Just a thought for the OP to consider.

I agree that getting a new or another job might be the best bet. If you live in or near a college town that has college pro painters you can get tons of hours in the summer. Associates Degree in nursing isn't a bad way to go. My wife is an RN and has her bachelors. Most of the people she works with just have their associate's in nursing and the pay is damn near the same.
Side note, glad to see that a lot of the young guys on here have good old fashioned common sense and aren't afraid to work. Good job on all of you
