Default I Dont get the plasti coat fad

No offense, but the murdered look was so late 90's and early 2000's. I think the look now is more a mixture of black, color and a bit of chrome. My buddy has a Tundra and he plasti coated the wheels, all emblems and anything that was chrome. I dont know, it looks to dated to me. *shrugs*

Personally, I think "the look" is whatever said owner likes and prefers to do to his/her truck.

From bone stock, to plastidipped, even to roller chrome 24's rims.... Even if I don't like it much personally, to each their own.

Hydrographics on some rims would be pretty cool.

I personally prefer painting with real paint. At least if it chips it doesn't all peel off.

I personally think that windows look their best when Plastidipped, especially windshields.

If you dont like it, dont do it. If you dont like it on someone else's vehicle, just remember, you don't drive it or pay for it.
