don't these badges have adhesive on the back? i don't see any in the picture. did yours? if not how well did it install?

No, they have 2 mounting posts.I cut them off and used 3M double sided automotive trim tape to mount.

I know this is an older post but I have searched high and low for a ebay seller that sells this type of emblem in 9" if anyone could help with a link that would be awesome. Thank you.

On ebay search "ford 3d oval emblem", 37 results come up. I will warn though, use a good adhesion promoter, them a good primer, if not, they will peel.

How do you tell by the listing if it is one that comes apart. Some of them are just tin over a piece of plastic.

Didn't know you did a how to on these!!


X2 on the adhesion promoter and primer.


I recommend bulldog adhesion promoter, and epoxy primer. I use PPG DP50LV. But I know most can't get that. Any kind of epoxy primer is key though.

Those are really nice! I want to do mine just like the blue/black example you have there. I hope mine turns out as nice!
