I just got a black f 150 fx4 eco boost. As you can imagine the thing is VERY easy to get dirty. 2 weeks ago i drove down to edmonton and got them to power wax the truck, rims and clean the tires. Cost me about $230, wondering how often i should be waxing my truck and how long till the wax usually wears out.

twice a year is my suggestion, you could do more often if you want... just make sure its clean or you'll scratch it up...

I wax mine at the end of each season, yes even in winter (but I wait for one of those rare 'hot' days)

About every 6-8 weeks for me. Mine sits outside all the time and the sun in Florida is obviously the most intense you can find in the USA.

Just got done waxing mine,even waxed my door jambs and windows .I do it about 4 times a year.

I wax mine once or twice a year with Meguires NXT.

I'll wax my vehicles in the fall or in the spring never in the summer when the heat can melt the wax and cause dust, overspray and contaniment's to adhere to the clearcoat and paint. Too damn hot down here to wax in the summer anyway!

5-6 times a year with zaino I'd recommend this product over any other, at 83k my black still looks wet when clean.
