How often do you get your tires rotated? Oil changed? Other general F150 questions

Hey guys, have a few general questions about my F150 and would love your advice here. Earlier this year got a brand spanking new 2018 F150 XL 4x4 3.3L V6 with 8' bed. It came with Wrangler tires, but since I'm a total newb, had a few questions if anyone is willing to share their thoughts:

1. How often do you get your f150 oil changed? I've put 17,000 miles on my truck now... when I took it into a dealership at 12,000 miles they said the oil levels are perfectly fine. The oil gauge is still right in the middle at 17,000 miles. Used to hear you should get oil changed every 3,000 miles, then it changed to every 5,000... is it different for a F150?

2. How often do you guys get your tires rotated on your F150?

3. I'm using the Wrangler tires that came with my truck. They're pretty solid multi purpose tires, but noticed some gripping issues on wet surfaces at times. Would kind of prefer beefier tires that could handle a little more intense offroading and that would grip better. Any you could recommend?

Thanks for any advice on the above guys and have a happy New Year!

Hope you're enjoying the brisk Oregon chill. It should say in your manual what the recommended oil change is. On my Toyota it was every 10k (synthetic) on my hatch its every 7,500k. I personally like to do it every 5k, it just makes it easier to remember when it needs doing, but I don't panic if I'm late. Same with the tire rotation, have it done when the oil is done.

7,500 oil and every other (15k) for tires.

Thanks, but also asking for tire recommendations based on personal experiences. Anything you guys could recommend there would be great. Will check my manual for what they say on oil changes and tire rotations thanks.

I see a lot of folks mention K02 tires, I just run the same tire that's on it, can find inexpensive take-off tires on CL.

Any beefier off-road tire is going to be worse on wet roads than what you have. You need to decide if you want a good off-road tire, or keep what you have which is fine for paved roads. Back tires spin on wet roads due to lack of weight. Add 300 pounds in the bed and they won't spin as much.

5K on tires seems to work pretty good for me. Been getting 60K+ on a set. As far as oil changes, it depends on the driving. In my case it is 98% highway, no "city", but some slow sections of 35-45, and put 640+ on a week, so I go until the OLM lights up, but change earlier if towing, if over 6K before towing I change, if new change and tow then I change at 5k. If a lot of city driving, 5K changes are the best, helps remove contaminants that collect and can't burn off in the stop and go driving.

And of course YMMV.

17,000 miles and you haven't changed the oil? At 12,000 miles the dealer said oil was ok?

seriously?
