How much rust is dangerous?

Wasn't there also a product called "XO"? May have been by Krylon. I used it in the past but can no longer find it. It seemed to work pretty well. Just paint it on after removing loose rust and you are good to go. The stuff would turn black after it was on the metal for a few minutes.

If you're looking for something fairly in-expensive, you can also look at "Zinc Rich" Rustoleum. It should have a 65% or higher Zinc content and works great as a rust inhibitor.

You must be down south because you don't have any rust at all! All I see is trivial white rust on a lug nut and minor surface rust on some control arms. Frankly, I wouldn't waste any of my money on snake oil fixes.
