Brake Problem ?
I have a 2004 F-150 and at 65,000 miles I had a caliper stick on the left front. It got so hot even going up a mountain you could smell the brakes like they were on fire,My center cap even fell of of the wheel it was getting that hot. I went to my local parts store and bought 2 new calipers, rotors and a set of pads to go back on the front of the pickup. After replacing everything and bleeding all the lines and getting fluid out of every bleeder I still have a brake pedal that goes to the floor. I also replaced the master cylinder thinking I might had mesed it up during the bleeding process but still a week later and I have no brakes. I can pump my brakes up and the pedal becomes firm but after a few seconds it will go back to the floor when pushed. If anyone can help me? All advice and opinions are welcome!!!

brakes
We're back to the possibility of the flex hoses restricting the back flow after you've taken your foot off the brakes.
The factory hoses have a sometimes habit of doing that.
Good luck.

Brake Problem
fordtrucknut1027 - I realized this is a late reply, but just in case you are still strugling with your brake issues.
I agree with the other posts that your brake locking problem is due to the flex lines. Replace them and you will be good to go.
Now, regarding not being able to get good brake pressure after bleading, check to see if you have your calipers on the correct side. The bleaders should be on the top. If they are not you will always have a pocket of air in the top of your calipers. Let me know.
Good Luck
Jeff

hot brakes
i have a f150 king raunch 2005 and recently the front right disc and calipiar is getting red hot and smoking, to the point i cant touch the wheel rim.
i have had the cailpair removed and refitted the servo checked and the pads replaced , but the next day the one brake heats up as thow locked and smokes .
the brake pedal get had to push down but the is no pull to the right at any time and the brake do not squeak .
the car also drive perfect with out pulling to one sid e.
any advise would be very helpful
