Default How much $ have you spent on your rig?

1st this is not a pissing contest!! mainly just want to see who spent what, where you saved money on your build, where I could have done better money wise on my build, what you've torn up and had to fix and what your shop charged you compaired to everyone else



got my truck bone stock and then found f150 forums and caught the bug!!

COST OF TRUCK: $10500 my dad bought it for my 18th birthday!!
**I've paid for the rest**

1.Spark plug change 90k miles ($300) none broke
2.Cold air intake ($350) installed myself easy
3.Hypertech chip ($340)
4.Drivers side window fell in the door ($425) ford dealership
5.Exhaust ($180)
6.Leveling kit + install ($500)
7.Rims+ 33in mud grapplers ($2400)
8.MTX thunder form+install($400)
9.Pro comp 6 inch lift+install($2500)
10.Recon tail lights ($300)
11.Recon 3rd break light ($100)
12.Recon headlights ($400) installed myself
13.Blue led cabin lights ($50)
14.Body lift 3 inch+install ($900) unlimited tinting screwed it up bad
15.Body lift repairs by 2033 ($600)
16.Toyo 38 inch M/T ($1900)
17.Blew the transmission up($1700) on spring break 400 miles from home
18.Bushwhacker fender flairs ($375) pain in the to install
19.Clutch plate on wrong tore trans up warrantied would not pay for reinstall at local shop or shipping ($600)

Coming in the next 2 weeks (thank you tax return)

Approx.
20.Cab light install ($300)
21.New gears ($2000)
22.Throttle position censor (???)
23.Switch panel for extras (???)

Total add-ons: $16,620

Total into truck:$27,120

really didn't know i was in it that much till I did this!!

Thanks man its been a work in progress lol... once it gets outta the shop with gears and lights Im getting it detailed. then Ill get some good ones up.

I put about 2k into my 93 F150 before I gave it to my little brother. But I have an easy 15 to 25k into my two Mustangs. Not counting purchase prices...

$410 into 2 Cooper Discoverer M+S tires for the rear - 275/60/17

$160 into a brand new Ultima Alternator

$20 for a new Idler pulley

$10 battery terminals

$25 Mercon V tranny fluid change in the M5OD

$25 for new Sylvania headlights

Grand Total $650

I don't want to know how much, but I'd guess its a couple thousand into my '92. Saved probably another few thousand by doing almost all the work myself.

Not to forget time put into it, about 5 hours a day average, for a year. No idea what all I was doing, but there's something there to show for it.
