My dad just traded his 07 4x4 s-crew 4.6 with 230k miles of working in a strip mining company. These miles where hot, dusty, long idle time, going though smoldering burn hay fields in the summer. In the winter stuck in the mud, long idle times, over due for oil changes, pulling to much, mud caked to the bottom of the truck year round. It was even shot once. Did not burn a drop of oil. It did loose the transmission once when he hit a washout. In all fairness to the truck he hit it hard enough for the air bag to deploy. It bent a cooler line and fried the trans. The rear end went out because it was full of water. Again, not the trucks fault. The ecoboost videos don't have anything on that truck. That truck is the reason I hang out hear. I have been a Toyota fan and my T100 has 180k miles on it. Its been a good truck but can't hold a candle to the F150 When the time comes; F150 hands down.
