Two, an 86 XLT LWB and an 01 Screw 5.4

I regret selling them both and really want to get back in one.

Thanks,

I thought the most comfortable seats were in my 2008. Things I don't like about the last couple are the signal arm and the location of the bright light indicator. I want my turn signals to turn on when I put it down or up and turn off when I return it to the middle. The bright light indicator is off to the left and I want it dead center.

Other then that the newer the truck, the more convenience: back up beeps for avoiding hitting something are great, this one has a back up camera, larger display for radio etc. I didn't trade for the new conveniences I traded because I had well over 50,000 miles and wanted one under warranty.

My first Ford PU was a 1957 F100 back in 1970. The truck had many mods that included all Stewart Warner guages and a medium rise 427 CU engine. This rig got about 4 MPG on an easy drive.
Next Ford was a 1991 Ranger SC 4.0, 4X4.
Then a 1995 Ranger SC 4.0, 4X4.
Last F150 was 2000 Scab XLT 5.4L
Current F150 is 2004 Scab XLT 4.6L.
I enjoyed them all.
I posted the above some time ago and memory lapse left out a couple of others:
1948 F100. Great old truck that was used for basic transportation and hauling other truck parts.
1974 Ranchero GT - Nice looking but a total lemon.
1956 F100 custom cab. This one a frame up restoration. Mild 289 CU and 4 speed. Was complete except for new paint when I lost interest and sold it.

3 of them

99' and 05' both 5.4l, and a 13' ecoboost

Between the 99' and the 05' was an 02' F250 7.3l power stroke.

Yesterday made 6. When we bought our 2012 FX4 last year the intention was to hang on it it for several years. It was an internet purchase though, one of the drawbacks of living a great distance from any dealer with a decent inventory. I was taken by the pictures of an FX4 with appearance package. I thought the black wheels and interior with red piping were great. Turned out that neither my wife or I ever took to the exterior. I liked everything else about it though, especially the EB engine.

Yesterday, we bought a 2013 FX4 in black metallic. The metal flake in the paint is incredible in the sun; I think we'll keep this one for awhile. BTW, quite an advancement in the electronics for just one year.

I'll stick to the subject and list the F-150's I owned.
1976 F-100 390 C-6 transmission. It was a beater that loved gas stations.
1995 F-150 300 5 speed manual. Kept it for 17,000 miles and couldn't keep it in the road from all the shimmying on our bumpy roads. Traded it for a new 95 Ranger.
2011 F-150 Crew Cab XLT 3.7L Auto My all time favorite truck and wish I didn't sell it, but had to buy my new wife a new Focus. :'(
2003 F-150 4.2L Auto Old ex-Terminex fleet truck that got me to work and back. A Mexican couple pulled out in front of me and totaled the truck. Came out good though, got $1,000 more than I paid for it. LOL
Now I drive a 2009 F-150 XL 4.6L SWB work truck with 73,000 miles. Hope I don't wreck this one. LOL
I have also owned other cars and trucks.
