little heat
My work truck is a 97 F-150 4x4. I replaced tstat and flushed coolant. since then I have very little heat. I'm pretty sure I have all the air out of the system. My temp gauge seems to be way on the cool side. Could the sensors cause heating problems?

Welcome to the forum! No, sensors can't cause heat loss. Something must be wrong with thermostat - looks like it's stuck open. It also affects mileage because engine is not operating at optimal temperature.

Agree with all comments posted. Would you please clarify a couple things. Very little heat? Assuming you are talking about the heater in the vehicle. Could be air bound here. Both heater hoses should be very warm or even hot to the touch.
Temp gauge, was the correct t-stat range used. Believe should be 192 degrees. Again top radiator hose should be much hotter then the lower to verify proper circulation and operation.
