Pull the light switch towards you.

Pull the *** for the head light out, they only work on low beam.
If you have your high beams on you won't have the fogs/driving lights.

I still dont understand why on high beam u even want them on. And u can pull it out with just your running lights selected also.

fog lights spread out wider than regular lights. with your brights they shine really far in a straight line. With the fogs and brights you get both distance and radius. theres a way to tie 2 wires together so it will work with both on.

On my 2003 f150, the low beams must be on to energize the fog lamps. If I remember right, the fogs on my 1998 Expedition would work with just the running lights on,,which to ME makes sense...a DRL setup.
Is mine working normally(the 2003) and is there an easy fix to make it work as a DRL with only the running lights on?

It can be easy, but there is no fix to DRLs. You either have them or you dont. As far as your fogs on with your parking lights, thats a process that has been brought 100's of times since ive been with this site. Do some searching, you will find what youre looking for. Search foglights on with parking lights

What i was getting at was you COULD use them that way if you wanted to, which,at times, is what I want.
2 lane road, lots of traffic, you just want to add to your visibility. That's all.

It just made sense to me to have them setup to run with running lights IF desired.

I am sure Ford will say they wanted to make sure you didnt forget to put your main headlamps on, which is possible.(or maybe they didnt want to encourage some conehead from a lawsuit when he forgot and had an accident)

BTW, I DID search again, but the archive must be erased.....didnt find anything on it last night or today. I would be interested , though, if someone knows what I should search (and actually finds it)

(Thanks in advance for any advice)
